Probably the most wonderful experience so far. As public transport is quite pleasant in London, I wasn’t reluctant to hear that the famous Kew Gardens were at approx. 45 minutes from the center and took the District line to Richmond.
Once at Kew Garden station, you’ll have to cross a cute neighborhood and find the well indicated entrance of Kew. Lots of entrance desks allow few waiting line which is great. And when inside, you realize. How big it is. How you should have a full day to visit it. And most of all, how gorgeous it is.
As I am a very big fan of greenhouses and palm trees, I directly went through the Palm house. The scenery makes you feel like in a perfect tropical home.
I took some time to do some close-up of the most healthy and shiny plants you can find here, literally feeling like being in jungle!
Next on the list was the waterlily house. A cute gem with cute species.
Then we headed to the Treetop walkway in order to have a better perception of the place. On our way we discovered so many different trees and landscapes !
We even came near the famous Temperate house. Unfortunately, it was still not open (renovation) when we visit but it is now, and I can’t wait to go back and enjoy every species there !
